SCYC is a great place to spend time with friends. As SCYC is a working club, members have a unique opportunity to create new and exciting experiences each year. The range of club activities is a direct result of member suggestions, planning, preparation and implementation.

Fun
The bar, lounge area and snack bar are open to members seven days a week. It's self serve and very well stocked. The lounge area with wide screen TV is a great place to view your favorite sports programming with friends and food, prepared in the snack bar or catered from your favorite nearby restaurants. The club is available for use at a nominal charge for rental for groups up to 199 people.

The Club calendar is testament to one of our most prolific benefits of membership. SCYC members stage some of the best parties, cookouts, and celebrations on the river. Boating
Boating at SCYC affords a wide variety of opportunities to enjoy being outdoors in the sun on the water. Not every one needs a boat however for those who do, SCYC resides amidst one of the finest full service marinas in the midwest. If watching is your thing, we have the best free seats on the river for the The Chrysler Jeep Superstores Detroit APBA Gold Cup races. SCYC is close to the lake and events on the river. SCYC members look forward to the annual dinghy poker run, predicted log competition and the occasional rendezvous.

The Security of Kean's Full Service Marina
Locaton, locaton, location. SCYC is truly fortunate to be located in the "center of it all." In addition to St. Clair Yacht Club, Kean’s Detroit Yacht Harbor is home to Lake Shore Boat Top, St. Clair Yacht Sales, Len's Marine Service on engines, drives & transmissions,underwater damage and equipment installation, Len's Gas Doc, Ship Shape Yacht Care as well as other social and boating clubs. The Marina offers 340 summer wells with 30 / 50 amp electric Service, Dock Box & fresh water. There is a swimming pool and playground for children under ten. The generous sized restrooms with showers are clean and modern. Laundry is available on site. Your dog is welcome too with designated areas for canine needs. Security is on site 24/7. You will also find modern fuel docks with both regular and diesel fuel, a convenience store with marine supplies and pump-out facilities. The boat yard offers a 55 ton travel lift', inside heated storage, paved outside storage, 24 hour security, heated rack storage, maximum length 42', maximum beam 12', overnight dockage included, trailer storage included. Transient dockage is based upon availability by calling (313) 821-2496. Rendezvous and yacht clubs are welcome. Electric and water is included. Sinbad's Restaurant is located across the channel less than 50' from the marina. SCYC is positioned amidst one of the most respected and complete boating facilities in the Great Lakes region.
